Missing File message

The missing File message can be avoided by consolidating your projects before archiving.

This tutorial will help you understand the reasons to consolidate before you Archive your library.

Consolidating is a process where Final Cut Pro searches all of your computer's storage areas for files that are not contained in the Final Cut Library and then adds those missing files to the library so that after you Archive and subsequently reopen the Library, there will be NO missing file message.
